Spinach Pepper Poriyal

Spinach(chopped)-2 cup
Onion-1 small
Mustard Seeds-1/2 tsp
Urad dal-1 tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
Redchilly Powder-1/4 tsp
Corinader Powder-1/4 tsp
Peppercorns(coarsely ground)-1 to 2 tsp
Cumin Seeds(coarsely ground)-1/2 tsp

1.Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds.When it splutters add urad dal,onion and saute till it turns to light brown.
2.Add spinach,turmeric,redchilly,coriander powder and salt.
3.Sprinkle some water and close the lid.Allow it to cook for 5 mins.
4.Add pepper and cumin powder.Stir it well and remove from heat.

This goes well with white rice or as a sidedish.
