Chicken Kuzhambu/Gravy

Ingredients:
Chicken-1 cup
Onion(chopped)-2 medium
Tomato(chopped)-2 medium
Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
Redchilly Powder-1 tsp
Coriander Powder-1 tsp
Curry Leaves-few
Cilantro-few
Salt
Oil

For Grinding:
Ginger-4 to 5 small pieces
Garlic-4 to 5
Fennel Seeds-1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds-1/2 tsp
Pepper Corns-1 tsp

For Seasoning:
Bay Leaf-1
Cinnamon-1
Cloves-2

Method:
1.Heat oil in a pan.Add the seasoning items,onion and saute till it turns to golden brown.
2.Add the grinded items,curry leaves and saute for 1-2 min.
3.Add tomato and saute till it gets mashed.
4.Add chicken,salt,turmeric,redchilly powder and coriander powder.stir well.
5.Close the lid and cook till the chicken is soft.
6.Add required amount of water for gravy and allow it to boil.
7.Garnish with cilantro.


Serve with rice,chappati,idly or dosa.
