Cabbage Poriyal



Ingredients:
Cabbage-2 cups
Onion-1
Tomato-1(optional)
Mustard Seeds-1/2 tsp
Urad dal-1 tsp
Redchilly Powder-1/4 tsp
Coriander Powder-1/4 tsp
Turmeric Powder-1/4 tsp
Curry Leaves-few
Cilantro-few
Salt
Oil


Method:
1.Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds.
2.When it splutters,add urad dal,onion,curry leaves and saute till the onion becomes translucent.
3.Add tomato(I didn't use) and saute till it gets mashed.
4.Add cabbage,turmeric,redchilly powder,coriander powder and salt.stir it well and sprinkle some water.
5.Close the lid and cook till the cabbage is soft.
6.Garnish with cilantro.


Note:In this recipe,I use to add 1 tsp of paruppu podi at last.It'll give some different taste.
